their house

Look at this...we are busy making our houses look cosy and warm...but the birds make their nests even nicer...these are not new nests but very old ones and abandoned by the owners.
Druk, druk, druk want het is vakantie...de dagen beginnen wat later...de kinderen zijn veel thuis....maar kijk eens wat de vogels een mooie nestjes gemaakt hebben...Vrees niet, dit zijn geen vers gemaakte woningen die ik illegaal gekraakt heb...het zijn onbewoonbare woningen die door de eigen bewoners zijn afgekeurd...maar ik vind ze prachtig!!

Hey Sylvia,
Het zijn kunstwerkjes op zich die nestjes en je hebt er een mooie collage van gemaakt.
Hier waren de merels afgelopen zomer ook druk in de weer in onze bolacacia, 2x hebben ze jongen gehad. Straks moet hij gesnoeid en gaat het nestje er ook uit, je heb me een leuk idee gegeven dit te bewaren.

Such beautiful nests. Your blog is gorgeous! I have a friend who collects birds nests, and in her home you will find tucked into different corners one interesting type of nest after the other.

We are awaiting our little robins to make their special nests in our yard. It is still very cold and snowy.
The day's are getting longer and that is a great sign of spring.
