It is pink saturday again, hosted by Beverly from http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ and she got me busy for a long time for these pictures...they were all taken in my allotment and in the gardens surrounding me. Het is weer roze zaterdag dus het was een hele klus om roze vast te leggen in mijn volkstuin en in de tuinen om me heen...maar wel een leuke klus....wat is er eigenlijk veel roze als je er op gaat letten

As always, your pics are delightful.
You know, 15 years ago one cannot find those mauve/violet papavers. Mine are coming from a dutch garden. An elderly lady, a friend of mine, who was maintaining a beautiful and wellknown garden in the suburb of Amsterdam, gave me seeds of her own papavers. There are still there. I named them Maria Hofker Papavers in memory of my friend.

Wat een mooie weblog heb je! Ik kwam vandaag voor het eerst even kijken op aanraden van een blogvriendin. Ik heb genoten van je prachtige foto's van de bloemen en planten, van de harten en de rommelmarktfoto's die je maakt en waardoor ik erg geïnspireerd raakte. So sorry that I am getting to you a day late and a dollar short for Pink Saturday. Seems like the day just got away from me.
The sun was out in the afternoon and all day today, so with all the rain we've had, I went outside to play.
