Outdoor Wednesday in Paris

It is wednesday again so let's join the Outdoor Wednesday party hosted by Susan from http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/.

Last week we came home from our trip to Normandy for 10 days. We managed to scedule in a day in Paris. We visited: Père Lachaisse, Montmartre, Sacré Coeur, Palais Royal, Tour d' Eiffel and Forum des Halles in only one day. As we arrived back at our camping we were tired but even more happy!!

Palais Royal

Sacré Coeur

These pictures were taken by our 14 year old son and his girlfriend, they went up to the top of the tower!!

The view from Sacré Coeur.
Uitzicht op de Eiffeltoren vanaf Sacré Coeur
In the garden of the Palais Royal, the pigeons were taking a nap while a limousine stopped near the Tour d' Eiffel.

This singer was standing on the stairs to the Sacré Coeur, and while performing his songs like "Let it be" and "Don''t worry be happy" and the view over Paris glowing in the sun... the world was perfect for a few moments.

A fotoshoot in the gardens of the Royal palace.

This little supermarket on a corner of 2 streets in Montmartre had been used as a decor in the film of Amélie.

In Montmartre even the birds eat from out of your hand...

Vriendelijke groeten, Marja

You've managed once again to capture the architecture of Paris beautifully. Seen the Eiffel tower from that angle was breathtaking. I guess your son has your talent and eye. Haven't been to Paris in so many years makes me want to pack up and go.
