outdoor wednesday in Honfleur, Normandy

I am still cherishing the happy memories of our vacation, we went to Normandy and visited Honfleur. It's painters, it's antique markets, it's harbour, it's romantic atmospere...it is a dream...
Ik ben nog even aan het nagenieten van de 10 dagen Normandië van alweer 3 weken geleden, Honfleur is een droom. Schilders, boten, de hoge huizen langs de kade en de antiekmarkt rond een eeuwenoude kerk.

It is outdoor wednesday again so let's join the party!! Just visit Susan and her blog and find out all about this weekly event.

Heerlijke foto's! Sommige foto's zijn zo romantisch, dat je goed moet kijken of je nu met een schilderij te maken hebt of een foto. Juweeltjes! Echt hartstikke mooie foto's

Sylvia, this is the most beautiful post. I could sit here looking at your pictures for hours. Each one is like a painting unto itself. You are a very talented photographer!

What is truly amazing to me is the half timbered building with the timbers painted blue (my favorite color). I don't believe I have ever seen them painted that color before, and I love it! I have a great deal of Norman ancestry so this appeals to me both on an aesthetic basis and on a genealogical/historical one.

Thank you for sharing with us. Your post is sheer loveliness.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hello Sylvia, Happy outdoor Wednesday, I am about to take a blog break (we have family visiting), I just discovered your blog and just had to tell you how exquisite your photographs and mosaics are, Congratulations on your well deserved magazine article, I wondered if you had seen Mosaic Monday at http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/

Mary does a weekly meme, where we all post our mosaics and I truly believe that everyone should see yours.

As I said I am now officially on a blog break, but something tells me I will be coming back here often.
Happy weekend, Kathy.
Normandy is gorgeous
