Outdoor Wednesday at the farm

Thank you Susan from http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ for this wonderful idea of an Outdoor Wednesday party...I have just had an almost dead experience when I had this big big bird running after me (what is the English word for it?thank you Marian...it is an ostrich....I just don't want to meet one ever again....) as I tried to take a picture of her at the local farm...I had to run so hard for my life that I am all exhausted and trying to get back my breath.

Wow, thanks for risking your life to bring us these amazing photos!!
That would be scary to have an ostrich chasing you.
I love all the speckled eggs, they are so beautiful.

Your pictures are to die for, but please don't die to take them. You're lucky you didn't get more hurt. They can be very agressive animals. The colors of your pictures are unbelieveably gorgeous. Thank you so much for your great talent!!! I'm addicted to your blog

That's lots of eggs. The blue and green peacocks looks almost gem-like!

Yes, those beasts can be mean! They often use them to guard a property here in the USA. I loved the chicken phots. And feathers from a peacock are so wonderful. Did you find any laying about?
